Tanned, rested, and ready for action.
We begin with breakfast at Tia Sophia's.
I get the guacamole omelet, served with posole. I love a place where I can get guacamole for lunch, dinner and breakfast the next day. I love guacamole. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Andrew gets something covered in red chile sauce.
We walk around the plaza, shopping about and taking pictures. I see lots of Navajo rugs, and wish I had hardwood floors to make buying a $5000 rug worth it. I go back to Carpinteros, where the desk I saw in the window is about $7000, but the one I want even more is about $11,000. They have a smaller desk, but while it's in my budget, it's not large enough. I ponder getting this desk, even though it will totally blow my office furniture budget. I can't imagine what the shipping would be, either. Damn me and my fiscal responsibility.
On to the galleries on Canyon Road. It rained a lot by this point.
Pictures 1 and 2 -- anyone who knows me finds out that I have quite the thing for native culture and whatnot. So I have to have this in my yard. If only I had the scratch to buy and ship it. But it's beautiful, no?
Picture 3 - Andrew goes for classy.
